If you were considering buying a brand new nest of tables, where would you think about putting it?
Most people would probably think of putting it in their lounge, so they would have extra surfaces as and when they needed them. Another option might be their conservatory if they wanted to use it for plants or other decorative items.
But have you ever considered putting a new nest of tables in your hallway? It could be the perfect addition to what can be an underused room, so it is worth giving it some thought.
Of course you will need to think about how much room you have to accommodate a nest of tables in this area of your home. For instance, if you have a long and narrow hallway you probably won’t be able to make it work. However you may still be able to fit a small set in a corner if you have one – always consider all the options and possibilities to see whether you could fit a nest of tables in and make good use of it.
The hallway is traditionally a room that is not often viewed as a room as many other parts of the home are. It is the room we come into first, but we pass through it without as much as a second thought in many cases. This is not ideal and we could end up not making as much of it as we could do.
So the trick here is to use a nest of tables in a square or oblong hallway, to add interest and functionality to it. Even a long hall can make excellent use of a nest of tables if it isn’t too narrow. Provided you can walk past it comfortably it could be the perfect place for a glass dish in which you can put your door keys!
Make sure you choose the right material for your nest of tables so that it looks good when it is in place. A small hall might benefit from glass because it will not make it look too crowded. Think about the décor in the rest of your home first though, so you can consider whether you are able to fit it in with everything else.
As you can see, a nest of tables could be just what your hall is crying out for.
